GasDrop is a Wichita-focused gas price search and alert beta. The service helps users compare gas prices, report prices, and join a waitlist for future price alerts.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you submit, including ZIP code, phone number, fuel type, target price, station price reports, optional notes, and feedback messages.
3. Location Information
If you use the “Use My Location” feature, your browser may ask for permission to access your location. This is used to sort nearby stations. GasDrop does not require location access to use the search page.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to provide gas price search, save alert preferences, review community price reports, improve the service, and contact users who request updates or submit feedback.
5. SMS Alerts
GasDrop may offer SMS gas price alerts in the future. If SMS alerts are enabled, users will be able to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal phone numbers. We may use trusted service providers, such as hosting, database, analytics, payment, or SMS providers, only as needed to operate GasDrop.
7. Community Price Reports
Price reports submitted by users may be reviewed and used to update public gas price information. Public gas price data may show station name, fuel type, price, and update time, but not the reporter’s phone number.

We take reasonable steps to protect user information, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
